Who we are

CEMA is a team of board certified emergency medicine physicians, experienced physician assistants and nurse practitioners that provides emergency medical care at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Our medical staff members live and work in this community. We pride ourselves on our emergency services to Centre County, the Penn State Community and our visitors.

What we do

Our expert emergency medicine team will evaluate, stabilize and treat patients of all ages. We partner with the nurses and case managers at Mount Nittany Medical Center to help our patients navigate the challenges of getting the care that they need while keeping in mind their insurance network, multiple hospital systems, and geography.

Is CEMA The Same As The Hospital?

No, CEMA is an independently contracted group of Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers who staff the Emergency Department at Mount Nittany Medical Center. We have proudly been providing that staffing for over 35 years.
